Doggie Fun Zone At Cassio
The DFZ is a timed competition where a dog chases an elusive lure through various scaled down obstacles and agility pieces. It is designed for all temperaments and size dogs and requires no prior training or experience. $12 for two runs. See: www.DoggieFunZone.com
On Tuesday, May 17 through Tuesday, May 24 the Doggie Fun Zone will be setup at Cassio, 173 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Newtown, CT. The proceeds of each day’s runs are for local charities such as the Danbury Animal Welfare Society, and the Spay & Neuter Association of Newtown.

But Fun Starts On The 8th!
Come to the Greenwich Kennel Club’s (GKC) 79th AKC All-Breed Dog Show, Obedience and Rally Trials on Saturday, June 11th at Taylor Farm Park in East Norwalk, Connecticut. Both conformation and performance judging start at 8:30 a.m. and will continue throughout the day culminating in Best in Show at approximately 5:30 p.m., rain or shine. Get up close to a variety of breeds and speak to knowledgeable breeders at the Meet the Breed educational program.This prestigious dog show will showcase more than 1,300 pre-entered dogs representing more than 160 unique breeds competing in conformation, obedience and rally trials.
This year GKC is honored to have the Animal Cancer Foundation (ACF) launch their Pet Cancer Public Awareness Campaign at the show. Founded by distinguished veterinary oncologist Gerald S. Post. To learn more, visit their booth on the show grounds or their website at www.acfoundation.org.
The Doggie Fun Zone challenge course returns this year from Wednesday, June 8 through Sunday, June 12. This exciting challenge is open to any and all dogs willing to step up to the plate.
NYC Pet Show
The NYC Pet Show is an event for the urban pet lover. The show provides attendees with an interactive experience comprised of activities, meet & greets, seminars and panel discussions. Tri-state area attendees will be able to discover new products and services as well as gather information that will help them have better relationships with their animals. 60+ vendors will provide dog and cat owners with discriminating and luxury products and services to accommodate the needs of their families and their pets. There will be celebrity guests such as Victoria Stilwell and other speakers. Pets are welcome!
