Adopt-A-Dog, an established non-profit rescue/adoption organization with a caring sanctuary for dogs and cats located in Armonk, NY, has announced the date of its highly successful annual “Puttin’ On the Dog” festival. On Sunday, September 22nd, Greenwich, Connecticut’s Roger Sherman Baldwin Park will host this popular day of fun, music, competitions, demonstrations and activities for dogs, their families and pet lovers. This year marks the 26th time this fund-raiser has been held to aid Adopt-A-Dog in its mission to provide dogs with a safe, healthy and quality environment while they await adoption.
Some 7,000 people joined their four-legged friends at last year’s festival and this year organizers are hoping to attract even more attendees. Sponsor support is critical and Adopt-A-Dog has been fortunate to have Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, the Veterinary Cancer Center, Reckson and Pet Pantry Warehouse as sponsors.
